Button Cards

In between my bigger projects I made same simple buttons cards for friends.
Antique Mother of Pearl buttons, laundry ribbon and lace. I used a patch of printed fabric and cross stitch the other 2 cards.

SAL Marquette Rouge/Le Boudoir d'Amega

Le Boudoir d'Amega offers a SAL for 2014 of a child's embroidery with all its authenticity and its mistakes: HERE

With my creativity flowing, I wonder what my turnout will be. It is to be stitched on 12 son which does not come here in the US, only 32 count. I will have to work with that. Can't wait to get started.

Vintage Table Cloth & Napkins

I found this beautiful flower table cloth with napkins embroidered at the flea. It was to long to take a full photo. The cloth is an extended oval shape with green stitches along the sides.

Blue Pouch

I made this pouch for my woman who delivers the mail everyday to my door. I also made her a lavender sachet along with the rest of my family of women. Some need to be stuffed.
The pouch I made with cotton gingham and the inside light blue cotton linen mix table cloth I found at the flea market. I love the feel and it is nice and heavy. It was a really big table cloth so I have a lot of it.
The next few weeks I need to work on handbags for my girls. Scary.

Mini Sampler found HERE
Blue Rose Ribbon: Atelier Steekjes en Kruisjes
Linen & Blue Lace: Broderie Passion
Blue Gingham: Found at my local market

All the ribbons on the sachets I bought at Atelier Steekjes en Kruisjes. The link is above.

Antique Toy Sewing Machine Found

This was found in a friend's basement uncovered recently. A blast from the past. A toy sewing machine. It needs a little TLC.

Monogram "T"

This beautiful monogram is for my daughter. Now to construct its home.
I used 32 count natural linen DMC 931 & Blanc 2 over 2 wires.

If anyone would like any of these letters just leave me a comment and do not forget your email address and I will be happy to send it to you. I like to share with my fellow bloggers.

JOY NOEL

Christmas is almost here. I did  a pad for my door to decorate.
Stitched on 32 count natural linen with DMC 815 of course.
Each hanging pad spells "NOEL". The single pads I filled with crushed walnut shells to add weight to them.
Some ribbons, bells, buttons, hemp chord and lace to put it all together.
I love this gingham linen. It is easy to finger fold and I could probably stitch on it. I will have to try it later with my scraps.

Model Found Here: La Contesse E Le Point de Croix
NOEL Alphabet: Filet Crochet Free Patterns
Red Gingham Linen: Atelier Steekjes en Kruisjes
Vintage Gingham Ribbon I bought at my local craft shop.

On many blogs I see this really nice suitcase made of fabric. The links on the blogs do not work but I was told it was a tutorial by Claire. Does anyone know where to find this tutorial?

One of the bags I saw on a blog was this one. I contacted the owner but no response from anyone.
Please help.
